Skoda Fabia 2007 – 14 Child Safety, Parts & Repair Review
Skoda Fabia
The Skoda Fabia is a practical supermini that features class-leading diesel engines, excellent fuel-economy and efficiency. It’s a car that you buy with your head, not your heart.
Generally, the Fabia is calm and comfortable. An extremely capable vehicle, the Fabia is a standard used car. While it may not have any sporty edge, it does have good visibility and light steering.Even better, driving it is less stressful, more fun, and easy to park when space is tight.
To test its durability, Euro NCAP ran a frontal Offset Crash test on Skoda Fabia (2007) and received a 4-star rating based on its performance and protection in high-speed front and side crash tests.

Child Safety
The Euro NCAP recommends that children less than 3 years of age should be facing the rear. After the age of three years, it is advised that children be forward-facing. This is to avoid the impact on the chest.
R | WEAK | MARGINAL | ADEQUATE | GOOD |
The Skoda Fabia is an adequately safe vehicle. In a frontal impact crash, the driver’s head and feet are the only things well protected, with the chest and lower legs receiving only adequate protection and the upper leg receiving only marginal protection.
The passenger is only better off in that their chest is also well protected. However, in a side impact crash, all occupants are well protected. Pedestrian protection though, is weak.
