The Mercedes Benz C Class is a relatively safe vehicle. In a frontal impact crash, the driver would be well protected in the feet, thigh, and head while only adequately protected at the chest and lower leg. The passenger would be well-protected all around, despite the only adequate protection in the lower limbs.

In a side impact crash, passengers are well protected, unless the crash involves a pole in which case, it is poor. Whiplash protection is only marginal and pedestrian protection is marginal/borderline poor.
