Any driver in the Jaguar XF-type would be comfortable handling the thrills of driving this car. For those craving power and performance, this XF-Type delivers.
The luxury car boasts a V8 engine, trading off its fuel efficiency for power and performance. The muscle car is agile and handles well. Inside the car, drivers would be comfortable cruising on the highway or on the back roads.
To test its durability, Euro NCAP ran a frontal Offset Crash test on the Jaguar X-Type and it received a 4-star rating based on its performance and protection in high-speed front and side crash tests.

Child Safety
When riding the Jaguar XF-Type, children less than 18 month of age should be facing the rear. After that age, it is advised that children be forward-facing. This is to avoid the impact on the chest. Protection for children is good.

Safety is concerning. In all collision types, the Jaguar provides a marginal amount of protection to protect from injury. Protection is slightly better in a side impact collision. As a result, risk is imminent if anything goes wrong.
Pedestrian protection is moderate and whiplash protection is marginally weak. Despite this, through rigorous testing, safety in the XF-Type received a 4-star rating for crashworthiness and safety.
Maintenance & Repair Costs
Repairs made to the Jaguar XF-Type will require high quality parts. The great news is that these parts can be found at many dealers within the same price range and time commitment of any normal car.
