Mazda 6

Easily one of the sportiest midsize cars, the bold style of the Mazda 6 combined with its sleek design and athletic handling add more to the experience.
With more interior and cargo space, the Mazda 6 is ideal for any family looking for a sedan that isn’t bland.
To test its durability, Euro NCAP ran a frontal Offset Crash test on the Mazda 6 and it received a 5-star rating based on its performance and protection in high-speed front and side crash tests.

Child Safety
When riding the Mazda 6, children less than 18 month of age should be facing the rear. After that age, it is advised that children be forward-facing. This is to avoid the impact on the chest. Protection for children is good.
POOR | WEAK | MARGINAL | ADEQUATE | GOOD |
Safety could be of concern. In a frontal impact collision, the driver only has adequate protection while passengers are left with good protection overall, excluding the thighs. The Mazda 6 provides good protection when in a side impact collision with only adequate protection of the chest.
Pedestrian protection is poor around the glass and there is marginally poor protection in scenarios involving a whiplash. Despite this, through rigorous testing, safety in the Mazda 6 received a 5-star rating for crashworthiness and safety.
