Audi A4 2001 – 05 Child Safety, Parts & Repair Review
Audi A4
The Audi A4 is a reliable vehicle that, if maintained well, is a solid as used cars can get. The fit and finish are excellent, as well as the same system. It handles well, regardless of the season, and drives fast. With a sports suspension and a simple, yet classic style, the Audi A4 has enough flash that it stands out but doesn’t beg for attention.
This German luxury car may be harder to maintain, but it is well worth a drive.
To test its durability, Euro NCAP ran a frontal Offset Crash test on the Audi A4 (2001) and received a 4-star rating based on its performance and protection in high-speed front and side crash tests.

Child Safety
When riding the A4, children less than 3 years of age should be facing the rear. After the age of three years, it is advised that children be forward-facing. This is to avoid the impact on the chest.
POOR | WEAK | MARGINAL | ADEQUATE | GOOD |
The Audi A4 is a relatively safe vehicle to drive. In a frontal impact crash, the driver receives good protection for their lower leg and head while just marginal protection for the rest of their body. The passenger receives all around good protection besides their chest and left leg. In a side impact crash, protection is good.
